Saint Lucia welcomes Inaugural Visit of Ruby Express, Boosting Inter-Island Travel and Tourism

   Saint Lucia Welcomed the Inaugural Visit of the Ruby Express at Port Castries on October 15, 2024.

   Ruby Express, the newest member of the FRS-Express Des Iles fleet, boasts a capacity of 428 passengers, coupled with additional space for the transfer of 50 cars, and up to 4 buses. This game-changing addition will connect Saint Lucia, Martinique, Guadeloupe, and Dominica, with plans to expand across the Caribbean.

With this new vessel joining the Corail Express (437 seats), Perle Express (360 seats), and Gold Express (446 seats), a total of 1,671 seats are now available to facilitate smoother travel between the islands, providing visitors more options to experience the Caribbean.

   The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, Ministry of Tourism, Cox & Company Limited (Agent for Express Des Iles), Saint Lucia Air & Sea Ports Authority, and all stakeholders for making this possible. Together, we are enhancing Saint Lucia's tourism product in adventure, romance, sports, and events.
