At a time when the world feels increasingly uncertain, marked by economic strain, conflict, and social division, Eid calls us to look out for those who may be struggling, to share what we can, and to ensure that no one is left behind. The spirit of Zakat and charity is not only a pillar of faith, but a powerful example of how we can build a more just, equitable, and supportive nation.

In Barbados, these values resonate deeply as we continue the work of strengthening communities, protecting the vulnerable, and creating opportunities for all. Moments like these remind us that progress is not measured only in growth, but in how we treat each other.
